Personal Injury

George has over 10 years’ experience preparing personal injury medical reports. He accepts instructions from both Claimant and Defendant solicitors and provides independent, balanced opinions grounded in clinical experience and, where appropriate, the medical literature, with reports fully compliant with the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR).

All reports are based on an assessment of the individual, normally at the John Charnley Consulting Rooms. This comprises a detailed claimant interview, comprehensive clinical examination and full review of the relevant medical records.

George will address causation, prognosis and the impact of injury on current and future employment.

Opinions are confined strictly to his area of expertise: knee injuries.

Clinical Negligence

George is an established knee specialist who accepts instructions in cases involving alleged clinical negligence relating to knee replacement surgery. He provides clear, independent opinions on standard of care, breach and causation, strictly within the limits of his clinical expertise.

Owing to his sub-specialist practice in revision knee surgery, George has extensive experience in the investigation, management and treatment of failed knee replacements. This enables him to apply current, real-world clinical practice directly to the assessment of these cases.
